Academic Summary Report
« on: November 19, 2004, 03:45:46 PM »
All of my transcripts have been received and processed.  The Academic Summary Report is still "Not on File".  When can I expect this to be ready?

TIA

My second (and final) transcript was processed this morning, and my Academic Summary Report became available this afternoon.

My report was available either the same day the transcript was processed, or the next day.

Thanks for the responses.  The Summary Report is up now.  It shows:

Degree (Summary) GPA: 3.79 Cumulative GPA:   3.54

Which is more important?

cummulative is more important than degree (except at a couple schools like  CU Boulder)...it's the one that's calculated into your index #.

About how long did it take for LSDAS to request, receive and process your transcript?  (assuming you did all your undergrad work at one school, and have already graduated)

They don't "request" your transcripts.  You have your schools send the transcripts to them.  After they all arrived, the full report was up within 24 hours.  I had about 5 different institutions.  Two JCs, one tech school and two universities.

Flossy--"arriving" and "prossing" are two different things in LSAT time.  First, your school sends the transcript.  Then, it gets lost in a wormhole for approximately one month.  Then it is marked "received" and "processed" with in a few weeks.  Then your reports are sent.

For example:

I requested my transcripts from my school on October 8th.
The school sent them on October 14th.
LSAC "received" them on November 5th.
They were marked "processed" on November 9th.
I could view my summary report early on November 10th.
The LSAC sent first reports out to school (who had requested them by like October 20th) in the evening on November 10th.
Accepts: Akron, Washburn, Hamline, Valpo, Mercer, Baylor (Sum), Arkansas, Ohio Northern, Tennessee,  Ave Maria, U of St. Thomas, St. Louis, S Carolina, Hofstra, U Florida.
Rejects: George Mason, UGA (blah).

I'm going to Tennessee!!!!!!
