chances at illinois?
« on: November 14, 2004, 05:26:10 PM »
Applied early decision to Illinois. Here are my stats: 3.73 LSAC GPA, 160 LSAT. I Know that my LSAT is on the low side, but I'm hoping they'll look at recs, extracurriculars, etc. Recs are really solid, and I'm the president-founder of a large organization. Think I've got a shot?

"Illinois overenrolled this year; it will take a very small class next year to compensate, so it will be hard as you-know-what to get in next year."

That's from www.deloggio.com.

I applied to UIUC too, so I'm hoping this is wrong...

I think that's slightly overstating the case...it'll be tougher, but not crazy so:  expect maybe a 10% decrease in class size at the most.
