Holy *&^%, i just got my acceptance today.  I am so bricked.  I don't know how this happened.  I sent it in just as a joke, but this is crazy.  I mean, my dad was an alum, but I never really expected that to make a difference.  If any of you guys need any help with it, just send me a message, and i will be glad to help you out with it.  i am so excited, i can't describe it.  thanks for everybodys help.  later.

BAFF isn't jealous.  He was being serious.  Lots of people come on this site, and many of them with writing abilities on your level, and post things like this to evoke angry sentiments.  BAFF's post was not "hating" or anything.  He and everyone else who reads this thread will wonder about the veracity of your claim.  It is obviously unlikely that someone with your numbers would get in, so be understanding about some skepticism.

Not to make any value judgment of "paniesonmyhead" or question the validity of his acceptance, but there's a post like this every couple of months through the admissions cycle.  Most similar posts (you can do a search in the site) have come from brand new users.  I would be more inclined to believe if the post came from someone who had a well-established reputation on the site.  Otherwise, it's usually best to assume that it's nothing more than flame bait.
