Mark a thread as permanently read.
« on: November 09, 2004, 10:38:25 AM »
I would like to be able to mark a thread as permanently read.  I never want to see the stupidest game/longest thread thread in my unread replies box ever again.  There are about 5 other threads I would also like to permanently ignore.

This would be a drastic measure- but if you delete all of your posts on a thread, then it will disappear from the "unread replies" box.  I know this is unwise for the "longest thread", but if you only made a few replies in a thread that you're now tired of deleting your posts will do the trick.

sometimes deleting will kill the flow of a thread, if you participated a lot at the beginning.  but once it drifts off topic and you don't want to see the thread anymore.

I agree. I hate that stupid thread. What moron thought of that? Oh, Bisquick. That other thread with the "numbered" responses that needs a new title every two days is really stupid, too. Deleting both of them is a great idea.

I hate T.T.T. threads.

I wouldn't mind the numbered thread if I could stop it from appearing in my unread folder.
