Adjunct professors and new assistant professors start around 45k to 60k I believe. As they rise up the ranks and gain tenure I'm pretty sure they can start grossing close to 200K.

depends what the field is.  Are you talking about law?

professors of cardiac surgery can make several hundred thousand dollars, I understand.

No, I'm talking about teaching law at Harvard for example.  Sorry, I thought the law part was assumed...

Haha nice.

That reminds me, I was offered a job at an ad agency with a $15 dinner allowance.  At first I was really excited about this but then realized a dinner allowance meant I would be staying through dinner.  Not cool.

biglaw firms do the same thing except they take it another step, if you stay later than a set time, for example 10pm or 1030, you get free car service home

That's just dreadful.  Any idea on how BIGLAW firms feel about taking the work home after, say, 7pm?

Besides, it'd be enough to hate your office because your life sucks when your there...take the work home and then home sucks too...at least enjoy the 5 hours a week you get to spend there.
