(I also pre-ordered and am one of those instant-gratification ppl who has never had much patience for shipping times, etc...when I pre-ordered this one book about four months in advance, I thought the wait would kill me!)

I can't give an exact date as to when the shirts will be ready.  But they are already in production and should be finished soon.  The prepaid orders will be shipped out before any other orders.

The pre-order shirts have shipped!  It might take up to a week due to the holiday.  If you got an email with a tracking code note that the postal service isn't very good at updating the tracking - so don't be worried if it says "not yet shipped" or something.
