yeah, but if someone wants to know if others have gained acceptance to their school of choice, it is not that hard to discover on the internet.  plus, anyone who spends a little bit of time on here is going to find out about lawschoolnumbers.

that being said, i agree with the premise of your idea.  if you get accepted, be generous.  if not, be gracious.  i just hope that we all are happy with the outcome of this application cycle.

MY question is, will we post rejections? if i get a big R in the mail tomorrow will i announce it to y'all? i think i will. many probably won't, though...

and finally, do you really find it challenging to refrain from ending a sentence or phrase in a preposition? is this a task with which i might endeavor to help you? do we all know to whom i am addressing my question? is it evident with which tricks we can avoid such sloppiness?

I'm going to post my rejections.  This will give me something to post for everyday between December and April.  Who has trouble with prepositions?  Is it something that I have trouble with?

As opposed to "Well, I got into x and y, but they suck.  So I'm really hoping on z, so I don't have to go to a TTT".

I will probably post rejections... that's just how I am.  I know my chances are iffy at several of the schools to which I applied, so I have nothing lost by admitting I was rejected.

I think a seperate accept/reject area is great!  Until yesterday, I had no idea that some people could even hear this early.  However, I think people should be as generous with their own info as they are with their accetance.  There was someone yesterday (can't bother to look it up now) that posted an acceptance but no #s.  What gives?  That doesn't do anything for anyone except stroke your ego...  I sort of feel as though people should embrace the fact that this is anonymous and just be honest.

I totally agree.  And I think that stipend or scholarship information is valuable too, so I don't see why people shouldn't post that.  And if you've decided not to go somewhere, maybe you should note where?  This is starting to sound like law school numbers, but I think it's all valuable info.
