If I were you and I assume you are white, regular applicant or you would have said otherwise.

Thanks. I wrote my "diversity essay" on being Mormon. I don't know if that will help me out much. I'm operating under the assumption that not very many Mormons apply the top 40 law schools.

Glad to know I'm still a minority! :) I was banking my diversity essay for the schools that requested it on that.

Interesting take doing the diversity essay on being LDS but it just might work.  I hadn't even considered it.  Do I even want to apply to G'town now that I'd have to do that? :S What other schools require it?

Every admissions counselor ive spoken with has said not to write off being white as not diverse.

You can write about growing up in the city, the farm, a liberal in the oc, a conservative in san francisco, a devout evangelical, a super hippie, whatever.

Being Mormon certainly counts.
I will miss LA :-(
