A few of you guys mentioned doing this to see if you had one of those "secret" fee waivers at a few schools.

Thanks  ;D

hit transmit...then it goes to the preliminary screen where it asks u to check the certification box. if you have a fee waiver there will not be a box for you to type in your CC info.

Simply hit "back" on your browser and DO NOT finalize the transmit

i did this for usc to determine that i do have a fee waiver, though i hadnt heard about it. i tried it for a coulpe other schools and went to a screen saying to check the box for printing a sig page or something. i was scared to go forward from there. what do i do, print the sig page, check the box, keep hitting transmit, and then it won't go through b/c it will ultimately take me to
a) page to submit my cc# or
b)a page saying my fee is waived?

just don't want to pseudo-submit a blank app  :-[ thanks!

if it asks for CC info, then the fee wasn't waived (at least not on LSACD).  you can click on the link that's next to that box for the sig page to see what the page looks like.  just don't click that transmit button that's on that payment/certification page.  if you do accidentally, there's a still one last confirmation pop-up message window that asks if you absolutely positive, so it's not the end of the world if you accidentally click that either.
