Roger Williams Law School
« on: April 03, 2004, 01:26:28 PM »
Anyone have thoughts/impressions of Roger Williams?  I've been offered a full scholarship there but I'm wondering about their reputation.

They are a relatively young school, that is part of why they have not built up a reputation.  As the only law school in RI, you would have a unique opportunity to get internships in Providence Law Firms and Courts.  If you like RI, and would want to practice there, it is a golden choice.  If you want to stay in New England, they are still a good choice.  Outside of New England, and you may want to look at other schools.

they sent me the same letter I guess, along with a big color catalogue.  I figured they werent ABA approved.  If they are, surely they are t4?

Okay, so with that in mind, would you pick a full ride there (they're T4) or $10K at U of Denver (Tier 2) assuming you didn't care where you practiced?
