Does LSAC GPA Screw Me?
« on: October 29, 2004, 12:07:50 AM »
I am 36 and applying to law school now.  I will graduate in May from a good four year university magna cum laude with honors and I recieved my AA degree also magna cum laude last year.  I owned my own company for ten years and worked for a Fortune 500 corporation for 5.  HOWEVER, my LSAC GPA will be about 2.5 because they will calculate grades from FSU 18 years ago that my school does not calculate into my gpa, I considered not reporting them, but it is not worth the risk to me.  Do you think a proper addendum will be sufficient to address this problem?  Adivce from anyone will be much appreciated?

With an addendum, you should be perfectly fine.

Include addendum, your 2.5 lsac gpa will be a non-issue.

A cover-up is far worse than your GPA from the dark ages. HTH.
