Law School Discussion

I too took the Oct. 2 LSAT, and I scored a lot lower than expected. I don't think it's low enough to make taking the test again in December worth it... just a lot lower than the average of all my 12 practice tests.

I have heard that if you have special circumstances relating to your grades or LSAT score that you wish to explain, you can include an addendum to your application. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to go about this, how to format, etc. I took the test in the aftermath of a hurricane that damaged my house, practically destroyed my hometown, left friends homeless, etc. Also, living for 2 weeks in Florida heat with no air conditioning, no electricty or phone, clean water, or any open libraries or bookstores to go to, does not make the best studying environment. I want to explain this to the admissions committee, and I was hoping I could get some advice.
