How to write an addendum for low lsat score?
« on: October 24, 2004, 02:31:33 AM »
I tested lower than average, was especially nervous, and the scale was harder. Yet, i don't want to sound like I caved under pressure. how do i convince them that this is not reflective?

The only way you can do this is to take the test over. Law schools won't try to guess what your score would have been if... Plus, sorry to say this but, nerves are a poor excuse. If you got nervous on this test, what is to prevent you from getting nervous on the bar or exams in school.

The LSAT score isnít everything.  You can take it over but you can also emphasize your strengths,  GPA, extra curricular activities, work experience, life experience, etc.

I have an eight-point discrepancy (159-167).  Any suggestions?
