Bored at work and finding the wait to hear from these freaking schools excruciating. Anyone heard from the southern schools recently...Duke, U Georgia, Tulane, Vanderbilt? Profiles appreciated if you report a decision...thanks.

Talked to folks in admissions at Duke and Vanderbilt today.

Duke is hoping to have everything resolved in the next couple weeks. And though there could be exceptions, any pending decisions (in the words of the guy on the phone), "are wait list at best."

As for Vandy, they're buried and have set a goal of getting all initial decisions out by May 1.

Crazy year...

I'm 162 and 3.3 with 7 yrs. WE...

I suppose we balance out in the numbers game. You think we should be preparing for the worst?

I FAX'ed a letter to Tulane on Sunday nite reiterating my interest and basically guaranteed I'd attend if offered acceptance. REALLY hoping that works out.

Where you headed if no Tulane?

I think we have a shot at the WL-- which considering that applications rose but applicants did not this year might not be that bad-- plus Tulane fell to T2.

Im in at Baylor so I'd compare packages and schools if I got in.
