FLorida State
« on: March 27, 2004, 12:30:44 AM »
Anyone know the percentage of out-of-staters admitted to Florida State?  How much does being out-of-state hurt my chances?  I used to live there, still own property there and plan on moving back for Law School.  I guess all of that is well and good but doesnt allow me to check RESIDENT on the application, right?

I'm from Oregon and got in to FSU, but it was a safety school for me.

I also got into FSU and I am from Georgia.  It was also a fall back school for me and I doubt that I will be attending in the Fall.  I don't think that being out of state will hurt you that much since more out of state students are applying to U of F instead of FSU.

I think that 75% from in-state is about standard for most state schools, athough UF takes close to 85% from Florida.

I'm from PA and I got into FSU. It was a 50/50 school for me and I applied in Nov. Yet, I applied to UF and didn't get in. Oh well. Hope all goes well.
