The Hmong would likely be URMs.  I'm not saying this sarcastically or to pick on them at all, but I believe Southeast Asians are considered URMs.  East Asians are a definite no, though. 

Also URM isn't solely based on race or ethnicity, but for example can also be based on socioeconomic factors (the two do generally overlap, though).

Yeah at most schools Hispanics do get an edge in the admissions process.  Some would say it was a significant edge. 

But anyhow, go to LawSchoolNumbers.com and take a look at the schools you're interested in and check out the graphs for each law school.  Then see if anyone listed themselves as Hispanic and what they scored to get in.

I'm asian and we are not considered a minority because of our culture and our take on education. We basically are treated like middle classed caucasians so for those of us who have immigrant parents who do not speak a lick of english and work 60 hours a week making minimum wage, sorry but no breaks.
