The problem is that you could alter the avatar ever-so-slightly and it would work.

Yeah I know, but at least it would significantly up the activation energy required to accomplish the same task.

People do this with user names too.  I have been lexysnugg1es and tota1bs247 and arnarain     (those names all have slightly different spellings than the real ones)

I better get working on the finger-print & retina scanner plugin.  Can everyone please send me two forms of ID?  Also, note that carry-ons are limited to a small bag and reasonable amount of reading material.  Any suspicious activity will be grounds for a full body search.

what about the preset avatars, like the picture options?  those would have to be excluded from lobe's search.  i think that's too much hassle.

speaking of citibank, i have them for banking and for credit cards.  they suck as a bank, but i got a phone call from them the first time i bought anything from ebay because it was "unusual activity."  then last month, my sister and her husband bought a condo and bought a *&^% load of stuff, both in furniture and in remodeling stuff, which required something like 7 trips to home depot of a few hundred dollars each.  and another phone call from citibank to check up on us.  i love them!

They're only protecting themselves though.  If you take UCC in law school you'll learn that, in most states (I think), the card owner is only liable for the first $50 of the fraudulant transaction.

Yeah, screw Citi.  They called me at 9:30 PM on a weeknight asking if I had bought something at "Radioshack... or maybe Best Buy?"  It sounded so fake.  But you gotta love their virtual account numbers feature, and my card gives me 5% back on groceries and gas!

fabulous.  now i hate both citibanks. 

we had our credit card number stolen TWICE last year, to purchase the same item (some water filter supplies from nevada).  the first time, we got new numbers re-issued, so we totally don't get how someone got a hold of it again.  and we got no phone calls then
