Question-Called, said decision?
« on: March 25, 2004, 05:57:21 PM »
I called a law school today and the young lady said a decision has been made on my file and letters had been sent. Since she didnt say "I was accepted" should I prepare for a rejection. Has anyone called and heard the token "a decision has been made" spill and then received an acceptance?

Yea, that happened to me, and I was accepted to McGeorge (though based on my numbers, I was expecting an acceptance.) If you are a borderline applicant, I'd understand your apprehension.  Don't worry too much, try to remain upbeat

Thanks for the response. I am below the median LSAT by two, but above median GPA...so I'm borderline and its an out of state school. I'm anxious because this is the school I would choose over any other.

Most law schools have strict policies against divulging decisions over the telephone. Just be happy a decision has been reached. You'll know in 2-3 days, so chill out.
