the answer is NO.  We, as a community, are over represented in relation to our population in this country.  If you are Mongol or Hmong, this may not be the case.  But the people that devise applications either intentionally don't allow you to identify your background or just fail to realize that Asia is such a huge continent that someone from Kuwait has to check the same box as someone from Japan as someone from the Sultanate of Brunei.
