what's with the 'seven sisters'?  is than a rough order of ranking?  any idea where I can get some stats on these companies?

This an alphabetical order.  Canadian Lawyer ranks them every year, but as I understand those rankings are as useful as their law school rankings: ie. not to be taken seriously.

All of the Seven Sisters will have plenty of information on their website.

Just to let you know, it's mostly a terrible mazgazine, although there is some good stuff sometimes.
