ADMISSION ETIQUETTE!! at a certain law school...
« on: April 15, 2008, 10:37:06 PM »
what's up with bklyn law?  i applied in nov, have heard nothing...and i did retake the lsat in feb, but still, honestly.  it's been 5 months and nothing. their deposit deadline was april 1, and when i called twice, they just said it's in review and the guy who answered knew nothing else. what's up with this? why would they wait so long past the deposit deadline to give me any answer? what is the most likely answer? is any one else in this or a similar situation?
GPA: 3.6
LSAT: 154, then 159

I would have asked to talk to someone who could have given you a vague date on when you'd have a decision. Not quite yet, but its getting ridiculous for schools to be expecting you to wait this long.

It's Brooklyn, that is what they do, unfortunately.  Just like you I applied in November.  Same LSAT.  Heard nothing.  I think we should be expecting a waitlist.
