Has anyone been taken off the waitlist for Loyola since late June?  Just wanted to see if there's been any recent movement...the wait is killing me!

So, still nothing from Loyola?  I was hoping that we might get something from them last week, since the deadline for the waitlist inquiry form was due July 3.  Maybe this week?

Does anyone know if this is standard proceedure for Loyola's waitlist...do they usually wait this late to let you know.  I have a friend who's currently attending (who had a much lower GPA and similar LSAT score to me) and they let him know in late June.  I know Loyola seems to be getting more applicants recently and the "caliber" of applicants is on the rise...but, really, this is really late to be letting us know...or maybe I'm just going a bit batty waiting...hahaha.

Anyway, as usual any information shared is greatly appreciated.

I got in!

I received a large envelope, via FedEx, in the mail today. 

I wish everyone else all the luck in the world...I know what a horror it is to wait!

congrats katie! . still waiting on Loyola.. trying not to give up all hope. My first choice I am so jealous!!!!


might I ask.. did you get into the day/full time program or night/part time student?

This is what the status checker said after I received the notification of being taken off the waitlist.

"A decision regarding your admissions application was made on April 08, 2008. A decision letter was sent through the U.S. Mail and should reach you within seven business days of the above date."

I've lived my whole life in the LA area, so I will commute.
