I'm surprised that no one wants to consider the "Nerdy Nine" aka the University Athletic Association: NYU, Chicago, WashU, Emory, Case Western, and its non-law school members (Brandeis, Rochester, and Carnigie Melon).

Before someone bothers to count and complain that there's only 8 schools listed, here's the reason: Johns Hopkins left the league.

Depends on where you make the cutoff.  Most people will note that outside the T25, overall rank is less important, and the Big 10 is the only conference outside the Ivies with 5 schools with a legit claim to being T25. Iowa's usually ranked in this group, and UIUC is pretty close.

Ivy, 4: Yale, Harvard, Cornell, Columbia

Little known fact: there is a difference between the University of Pennsylvania (aka. UPenn or Penn) and Penn State. "Penn" IS an Ivy league that is in the T10. Penn State is a Big Ten that is nowhere close, it might be T100. There are much better Big ten schools that should be considered... But that said... Pac 10 kicks ass! Go Bears!
