I am on the Tenn waitlist and I am wondering if any others have spoken to UT and have any insight as to what can be expected. As for me, I have a nice scholarship from another university and a couple of other reasonable acceptances. UT, however, is by far the highest ranked of my schools and I am a Tennessee resident so even without money it is fairly priced. I can go elsewhere for about $30k less, total. That may be insignificant to most but I am in my late 40's so I won't have the work life to recover as many of you will. I think that I will call them Monday and question them and at the same time, get advice on how to handle pending seat deposits elsewhere. Any advice or insight will be appreciated.
