Dilemma: Closeby T4 or 100-Mile Away T1?

I'm a single mom, nontrad (two kids) so I totally get your dilemma.  My dream school, where I'm currently WL, gives me a 60 mile commute one-way/ 120 mi. a day roundtrip so I also sympathize with your commute.

Go to Texas.  It's only for three years.

Could you all relocate to a spot on the UT side of SA?

Texas.  No doubt.  Usually I'm a fence-sitter for lower-ranked schools with good incentives, but here it's a no-brainer.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words. For months law school seemed just a wonderful fantasy. Now I have had to actually pick a school and fork over some money ... and have had to calculate what a large chunk of money I will have to fork over (or go into debt for) during the next three years. I am terrified and giddy with excitement. This is my mid-life crisis!!! I hope to relish every day of it!
