That's what they say.  It's called the Marine boot camp of law schools.  Unlike most schools, they work students just as hard all three years.  That atmosphere leads to a higher attrition rate than most other top 100 schools.

ANyone know of a good source of info on the competitive nature of a school's atmosphere?  I've heard tidbits here and there about different schools but never the schools I've applied to.  Any suggestions?

Yeah, if anyone knows, please post! So far I've heard of things from word-of-mouth, but sometimes its conflicting.
Some generalizations:

- Columbia = hard (a friend of mine got the only A in her class for first year)
- Chicago = medium (heard it was hard, but a friend of mine said it was managable)
- Hastings = hard (has to compete with Stanford and Boalt, and it gets all their bitter rejects)

i think the reason yale isn't on there is actually because yale students/universeiy never responded to the princeton review survey.  i was looking at the book in the bookstore and saw that yale was included in the back with other schools there was no info on

well you have to admit that for a school that only been around for what 50? years, it's doing pretty good.
