I was thinking it was 1st yr associates at LEAST 125k+/yr starting salary.  Maybe I'm wrong?

Yeah I think you're right it's 160k now.

"Big Law" = 160k? Market value for first year associates at top new york firms is 160k-ish, ok. But is that how we define biglaw? I agree with tm, it seems more fluid than that. If you were working 18 hour days on the 53rd floor of a manhatten skyscraper and billing 2500 hours a year you'd probably feel like you were in biglaw regardless of your salary.

xoxo points out that according to this, NW's GPA and LSAT bands would have stayed exactly the same for 2 years in a row.  exactly.  and the lsat band reported on the "leaked" USNWR doesn't jive what's reported on NW's website for the 2007 admits.

No Univ of Pitt dropped 16(!) rankings.

Miami also dropped 12 points, which is pretty big because this means they dropped 65 to 82 in 2 years.

wow. why did the North Carolina schools take such a hit? Duke, UNC, Wake all dropped.
