Anyone who has a decent amount of time want to go through the T50 and put how much they went up or down from last year?   I would, but I have oral arguments tomorrow!  Ahh. (believe me I would if I had time, I put together the historical rankings charts for the history of USnews at http://members.aol.com/stuje1/rank.html ...which is now a little outdated)   I am sure everyone would be grateful if someone does it!

I think Penn and Chicago got busted down because of all the Berkeley trolling on here  ;)

Seriously though, this really makes me angry.  And, perhaps irrationally, somewhat nervous as to what awaits me after I graduate.

I CANNOT explain how angry this makes me.

can you try anyway?

what about it makes you angry specifically?

Well, it's not the jump of CLS over NYU.  I actually think that one is deserving.  I am just completely baffled at how Berkeley beat Penn and Chicago!!  WTF!?
Clearly looks like Boalt gamed the employment numbers. They boast the highest employment rate out of all the schools beating harvard and yale by whole 3%.

Penn is an amazing school, but Boalt jumping ahead of it one spot doesn't surprise me. But Chicago dropping down like this, when it seemed like it was heading back to #5 this year, is really strange.

It does kind of seem like Penn might have jumped out of the MVP group. If it stays this way for a few more years that'll be a solid group division.

Berkeley is a powerhouse.

I wouldn't worry about your future school though.  Penn hasn't become Cooley overnight  ;)

NU places as well as Michigan.  They're both excellent schools.  I don't see the problem.

Ha these are so hilarious.  2 points separating 6 from 9 and three schools tied at 9.

Everyone knows that Chicago is more than '2 points' better than Michigan/VA/NW (I'll concede that, though I still wouldnt go there in a million years

Everyone knows that Chicago is better than Boalt
Everyone knows that Penn is ranked higher than it should be
Everyone knows that Michigan is better than Northwestern

silly, very silly heh heh :)
