i could keep up with a 28 year old.  easy.

The fact that you felt the need to say this suggests otherwise.   ;)

no.  it suggests that i'm insulted by the fact that poetgirl thinks she's so mature and worldly that anyone younger than her isn't worth her time.

Buy her a drink, then.  She might change her mind.

she's probably not attractive enough for me to buy her a drink.

i'm satan, remember?

Why?  Who are all these people who are buying drinks for ugly girls?  (And don't say ugly dudes, because ugly dudes know that they don't have to buy drinks to have a shot at ugly girls)

I'll be 25 going to Law School. I know plenty of people with some years of experience before going to Law School. Besides, who would want to date lawyers anyway?  ???

You think that now, but when you're working 80 hours weeks and barely have any time to sleep, let alone meet then wine and dine some special lady, you might be singing a different tune.  I think about 1/4 of the attorneys I work with are married to other lawyers, and the rest were married before law school.

I know. It was a joke. I am looking forward to law school to meet nerdy law school girls, remember? ;)

Also, I work in NYC Biglaw. I have met an attorney or two.    ::)

Dude, if only there were a smiley icon with little devil horns and a tail.  I'd be all over that right now.

Bearly, do you mean that you "met" these attorneys in the . . . uh, biblical sense?
Uh... Ummm.... No?  ;)

just a few notes:

hellooooooo cougars

i'm dating a lawyer, and it's awesome, when they're busy, they can't bother you all the time.

what stotan said about ugly girls with hot friends is pretty on point.

and just to reiterate, preppy people >>> everyone else.
I'm not a lawyer yet, Holly. What are you talking about?  ??? ;)

Oh, I figured, but for a second I thought you meant that you actually dated people in your firm.

The litigation I work on has been going on for 10 years, and it's produced something like 4 marriages and a BUNCH of affairs, including a number between paralegals and associates/partners . . .
Yah. It's kind of a sad industry, LOL.

bearly, i'm still waiting on the picture of that hot punk chick.
Give me a sec to find some hosting. She's hot in the way that I subjectively think girls are hot. Not necessarily up to Stotan's standards of approval.

Think SuicideGirls, not Maxim.

just face the facts and give up on dating, dating only leads to marriage which only leads to divorce.  Just find a buddy at school and get your jollies that way :)  You don't want some needy relationship getting in the way of your career, do you?  No way, look out for #1.  Oh, and Bearly, sure, we can be friends ;)

Bearly seems like a good dude - but you're not very discerning, are you?

A) "Younger" is ok... 22 is not. I am mature and worldly-- and I'm in a different place in my life. I don't take shots at the bar anymore; I sip wine at home with friends. I'm SURE there are those 'young-uns' who do the same, but that's not the norm. Additionally, I'm no longer physically ATTRACTED to the baby-faced early 20s guys.
B) Contrary to speculation... I am hot :-)

No reason to be discerning if all you're looking for is a buddy :)
BTW neglected married men make the best buddies, they try harder
