Any other Rutgers people?  I sent my deposit in.  Not the most luxurious of locations...but at least my future self will be happy about the lesser debt.

I have a lot of friends who are graduates and they have all assured me that my future self will be forever grateful for taking an economical approach to law school.  I still haven't found a place to live though...

I have been looking like crazy. I have a car, which makes it a little easier, although I am still trying to figure out what the parking situation will be like at Rutgers.  Anyway, I have been looking in South Orange, JC, Weehawken, and Bayonne.  Are you taking the train to school?

Yeah, I don't have a car so I've only been looking in Jersey CIty and Hoboken and the prices are sooo expensive that I've just kind of given up on the idea of affordable housing.

I don't know how familiar you are with the area around Newark, but I scouted out South Orange a few weekends and it is really nice out there. It's a short train ride to Newark (15-20 minutes I think) and since Seton Hall undergrad is there, the affordable housing options are a little more diverse.  It's a really cute town, and the reservation is close, if  you like to hike/bike. Just an idea.
