Suggestions? Villanova ($$), BU (NEW), WL at Fordham and BC
« on: March 17, 2008, 08:47:22 PM »
So here's my situation...I have recieved $$ from both Nova and Temple (also Hofstra and Penn State, but I WD), I am WL at Boston College and Fordham, and still waiting from BU.  At this point I think I'd choose Nova, cause I'm from Philly and wanna probably practice there.  I'm wondering if I should put myself through the WL process, because my biggest fear is that I will get accepted in late August and have 2nd thoughts.  Does anyone know if Fordham and BC are good about their WL....when people hear?

Suggestions?

Thanks

Have a friend who was scholarship at Villanova, got excepted to Fordham part-time like a week before classes started.

If you are getting money at Villanova then I'd definitely consider putting down the deposit and waiting it out at the same time. Feel free to post back with any questions or e-mail me.

Hey,

So yesterday BU called and told me I had been accepted.  Now I am so confused.  I was pretty set with Villanova...live at home, scholarship..save lots of money.  I have heard that BU is really cutthroat.  I know I wanna end up in Philly.  I feel like I have a better shot of standing out at Villanova......

Thoughts?

Thank you in advance!

Are you from Boston?  Anyone hear how happy BU students are?

I'm at BC undergrad now, and everyone I hear from says they much prefer BC over BU law...and I've heard BU is so cutthroat.  Okay, so what are your thoughts about my situation if I wanna stay in Philly after law...I could save money living at home, and they're giving me 15K a year...

Temple is ranked just like Villanova, but I withdrew there, cause I like Nova a lot better... and I got rejected from UPenn.

Hey Franker, did you receive your scholarship with your acceptance letter or shortly after?

I have heard that Villanova is tight with scholarship money so I am just curious.  Thanks.
