It certainly wasn't the answer I was hoping for on a Friday, but at least the e-mail was nice.  I wish all of you who were waitlisted at your top choice schools the best of luck!

I wrote the "Why Michigan" essay; however, I applied rather late in the cycle (early February), so it wasn't too surprising.
