LOR from Professor at Law School I want to attend
« on: March 11, 2008, 11:01:36 PM »
How much would a recommendation from a law prof (w/ endowed chair) help with an application?  Do you think admins give deference to their own prof's recs?

As much as they would give to any LOR, which is to say, likely not very much in the grand scheme of things. It's certainly  a nice thing to have, but I doubt it will get you in anywhere you wouldn't get into otherwise. Including the school in question.

Saw dashrashi's LSN site. Since she seems to use profanity, one could say that HYP does not necessarily mean class or refinement.
