Wustl? Why the hold up?

I received a scholarship offer in the last week in February and they extended the deadline to March 25th.

My scholarship didn't have a deadline.  I only had to pay the deposit by April 1st.

It is not inconceivable that they are getting a very good response from their scholarship offers. They may be very concerned at this point about over-enrolling.

WUSTL seems to be the only school that hasn't made a single rejection or waitlist this year, which seems to be the general trend in previous cycles. I think it's safe to assume that if you applied before Jan. and haven't gotten a decision yet, you can expect a nice spot on the waitlist come end of March. That's the position I'm in.

I applied mid-November.  I'm expecting a waitlist and I'm treating the current wait as a deferral in disguise.

I just heard back from WUSTL today with an acceptance, so maybe they're starting to mail more out? So hold on you guys still waiting to hear back from them, maybe it will be sooner than you think!

BTW: anybody have any idea how long it takes to hear about scholarship info from them?
