UNC -- Why they are slow

I was just admitted last week after submitting in November.  I was well above both their 75th's, but somehow it took 4 months.  Who knows...

a couple people ahve said they send acceptance emails but I doubt they send rejection email. although it is possible. I'd say they will be puting rejections in the mail soon. It seems that most the people accepted so far were auto admits and/or applied early. This may just be the first round. Then again they could have had a great year.

I have three friends who all received acceptance e-mails during the last week of March.  The rest of us should be receiving rejection letters pretty soon.

I thought the same thing.

I really can't believe that UNC's made ALL of their acceptances. I'm by no means expecting to get an acceptance, but at the same time I doubt they admitted everyone by this point. They had such a slow start that I don't think they're just going in waves of acceptance/WL/rejection. I think they're coming out all at the same time.

I agree with hood. I am expecting to receive a letter of disapointment soon. I thought I had a good shot too.

Has any one been accepted that applied after mid January?(excluding auto admits)
