Thank you!

I think I'm missing a part of the email.  It says I need to return the form within two weeks of "this em" and that's the end of the paragraph.

Actually, I am shocked that more people didn't pounce on this thread.  Does Michigan not take a lot of WL folks?  The information on their website is pretty non-committal.

A fair number of people got waitlisted and mentioned it in the Michigan OWNED thread.  I think there's a sizable camp of waitlisted people who got into higher ranked schools and don't care enough about the 'now what?' portion of this thread.

i was waitlisted too, but since i'm not going to stay on it, i haven't posted in this thread (but I did post in the one hollowman mentioned).

Got the email too.  I sent an email back to withdraw.  I was really expecting this.  Didn't write any optional essays, didn't send LOCI after deferral.  Anyway, hopefully people like me will drop off the WL soon to make it easier for those who still want to go there.  GL everybody.

You're excited about getting waitlisted?

Looks like that's the case from the directions.  You could probably print it out, scan it and email it.

My mom congratulates me when I get waitlisted.  I get that it's better than being rejected, but it still sounds weird to me.
