Mayland v. Tulane?

Which one places better in DC?  Even though Maryland is ranked higher, Tulane (according to LSN) has better national placement.  Thoughts?  I'm hoping to either do political work in DC or go back home to Washington State to work for the attorney general following law school.  Thoughts on these two schools.  Also, a friend of mine @UMDB says the school is committed to staying up in the rankings.

as an aside, I've never heard anyone here in town call it UMDB. there's UM-B and UB. just a hint so you don't go confusing the locals.

I know nothing about tulane, but the vast majority of UM-B grads leave the city and wind up in DC and in the surrounding counties doing respectable law firm type work. The UB people pick up the scraps.
