I have received several waitlist letters which have either outright said I am on the waitlist or have stated it in a less obvious way, i.e. "your application is on hold; will be reviewed at a later date" etc. I received this letter a month ago, but in re-reading it I can't tell if it is a really nice way of saying I am on the waitlist or something else altogether. What do you think? *Identifying details have been left blank*
