Transfering...
« on: February 23, 2008, 04:22:22 PM »
Hey all,

While I am extremely excited to be choosing between G-Town and UPenn for the upcomming cycle, my wife's family all live in California and I was wondering if anyone here knew if UPenn or G-Town are likely feeder/transfer schools for Stanford or Berkeley, or even Harvard, for that matter.

Thanks in advance!

I have heard stanford takes very few transfers (partially due to class size). Harvard takes more transfers.

With your options, I would choose Penn. Rank is similar to Boalt, so you probably would not need to do too crazy well to transfer. As a G-town student, I hate to admit it, but I think there is a legitimate placement advantage with Penn as well.
