Part-time versus Full Time

I currently heard from a school that put me on a waitlist that I was admitted into their part-time program.  Right now I am admitted at two Tier 4 schools, and this school is a Tier 3.  After the first year I am able to become fulltime or stay part-time.  Is this a risk, or should I see it as a great opportunity?

Also, if I wanted to transfer after the first year would a part-time program make it more difficult?  Anyone with any experience or advice please post.  Thanks!

Yes. Some (if not all) have credit requirements to transfer.... 30 or so. Most PT programs would not allow you to complete this many in 1 year.

Unless a person were somewhere like Cardozo, they would not have the full 1st year credits to transfer to another school. A full-time student may have 28-30 1L and part-time many have around 20-22, and therefore would not have completed full 1L requirements to transfer to a FT program at another school. Of course every program is different, but it could limit your choices. Make sense?

I meant transfer after the first year to a different school. 

So does that mean many people do not transfer after their first year?
