Stanford where are you????

I'm wondering the same thing - its been four months with no word! 


Has anyone called them yet?  I'm guessing we're headed towards a waitlist.

Complete since 12/10. I don't think I have much of a shot, but it would be nice to hear something! Anything!

Last year's LSN:

Of the 68 people marking themselves as accepted, 19 of them were accepted after March 1, 14 listed no date, and a couple had obviously erroneous dates entered.

eta: so I'm still hopeful. I did email them a month ago to ask if submitting additional information, an essay describing my reasons for attending Stanford perhaps, would be helpful and was simply told if I send it, they will add it.

It didn't feel very encouraging, however, so I decided against sending. My own little experiment. I did send a "Why Harvard after being deferred" so I'm hedging my bets, I guess to not send one to Stanford.

Guessing from last years final admit numbers, there's still a good bunch of admits to come.

their financial aid office handed out awards via email today.

I went complete in January.  I called on Thursday.  My application "is with the committee".  When asked what that meant and for a time frame, the nice woman I spoke with on the phone said that she had no clue and that a decision could be reached any time between now and the end of April.

I was expecting a quick rejection from Stanford, since my numbers don't make me super competitive, but I have heard nothing. Stanford, my alma mater, please either give me good news or put me out of my misery soon!!  At this point I just want to know if I will be moving out of state this summer....
