What about life in Philly? Crime? Entertainment? Weather? I'm from Texas, considering a move to PA... it is rather intimidating!
Don't forget to take the Temple challenge!http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,99398.0.html

Also, Temple's OCI is not limited to the top 10-15% and is open to everyone. It's true that Temple might not be for you if you're seeking nothing but $$$$, but coming out of Temple with good-moderate performance will get you a quality job with good pay. Like anything, if you work hard and take some initiative you'll be successful.

(primarily North Philly & West Philly - party of the city where you will never go). Other than the isolated gun violence, Philly has the same crime threats as any other city and most of the neighborhoods where you would live are safe
Just to let you know, Temple is in North Philly.
In at Temple with a big red folder.Does $$ info come with this packet? If it did, I'm SOL as far as scholarships go. Anyone ever have any luck requesting money from a school that doesn't offer any?
