Accepted to Temple with $12,000 per year!

Anyone have any thoughts about Temple/knowledge of its job placement?

Congrats!  Temple is from what I gather the best Philly school after Penn.  I applied there with slightly worse #'s than you and it is likely I will be offered PT.

Thanks Madness!  I'm pretty excited about it.  The scholarship money made it about equal to my state public school (SUNY Buffalo) so I'm wondering which would be better for NYC job placement.

Best of luck in your cycle.  :)

Buffalo and Temple for NYC - that is an interesting debate for NYC.  I applied to Buffalo also.

congrats!

Temple is a good bet for me if I get in (and if they offer me any $$, it might be too hard to pass up!).

How long ago did you apply?

Thanks!  :)

I went complete on 10/31, so it was a fairly long turnaround time.

I was also accepted to Temple recently and I am pretty excited.  I am deciding between there and Brooklyn.  I want to be in NYC but Temple is not bad of a commute and so much cheaper than brooklyn since i live in state.  Does anyone know if its hard to get jobs in NYC coming from Temple?

Is it hard to get PA in-state residence?

A friend of mine graduated from Temple this past year and was able to land a summer position at a BigLaw firm in NYC. He was around the Top 10% of his class, but it is at least possible. They place very well in Philly and Wilmington law firms.

From what I have read/heard, it is very hard to establish PA residency for law school.

In @ Temple with Full Tuition!  It is very tempting and the longer I think about it and learn more about the school, the more tempting the offer is.

I don't know much about placement other than it is very strong in Philly and would love to hear some more about placement.
