Ah, it's not the cold but the rain that'll get you. I recommend getting a good rainjacket with a zip-in liner for cooler days.

Was dinged today.  Pretty cold blooded.  So I guess this was a mixed batch that was sent out.  My buddy got accepted today too, with lower numbers than mine.  Kind of strange.

Ouch-- that sucks, jobigot. I wish I knew how these addcoms make some of their decisions...

Yes it sucks, somewhat shatters my hopes for getting into U of Oregon.  I might just end up at Marquette.  Or U New Mexico which appears to be super easy to get in to, yet they're ranked 70.  I haven't heard back from UNM yet though.

I wouldn't be so sure about UO yet. I know some people who got in there and got into Lewis & Clark a couple of years ago with relatively low numbers. UO does take into consideration other soft factors. You might have to ride the waitlist, though, and be prepared for your decision to come later in the game...

Congrats to all of you who have been accepted! Right now, I am leaning towards SU because of their legal writing program (2nd in the nation) and its location (I've lived in CA all my life and need a change). Also, they're the only ones that have accepted me thus far ;D.

I'm sorry for those who were rejected. There are better things ahead!

Request: Can those who were accepted/rejected care to share their numbers?

Mine: Accepted 2/1 - 3.14/156

My #s are 3.1/158.  My friend who got accepted today had a 157, his gpa might have been 3.3.

Wow, I guess I had better soft factors than you. It's hard to believe that .01gpa would mean the difference between waitlisted and rejected.
