Perhaps I was deferred at L & C, they sent me a letter a few weeks ago saying "no final decision can be made."  They might waitlist, sccept, or deny later in may or so.  Is that what is meant by deferred?

Yes.

My only concern is that I thought that rejections typically started arriving en masse the first week of March and 10-12 days after the status checker mailed date is pretty close to the first week of March.  Anyone else concerned about this?

It is pretty silly to worry about at this point because we'll know in a few days but I'm just running through scenarios in my mind.  This batch has to be acceptances though.  I'm still hopeful.

Is this the trend for most schools, or only pertains to Seattle? You got me worried about the many schools I still haven't heard from!

Stay positive.  I really think these will be acceptances.  We all seem to have similar stats, basically right in the target for SU, so don't sweat the next few days.

It did arrive in the mail today.

Well I am going to wait at least a week for the LOCI until I hear from University of Oregon.

I'm sorry to hear that Clayton =(. But Oregon's acceptance will trump Seattle's disappointment!

Sorry to hear that clayton.  I still haven't gotten mine, so we'll see about tomorrow.  I did get a Marquette acceptance yesterday though, so that was a nice substitute for not getting SU's mail yet.

Congrats! Is this your first, or have you been accepted elsewhere?

That's awesome. Seattle's a really cool city. Have you been there before? My husband once worked at a dry dock there for a year and I'd go up and visit him. I remember nice parks, friendly people, and gazillions of great coffee shops.

I also hear SeattleU has an exceptional legal writing program.
