What are your thoughts on this school? Have any of you visited it? If so what kind of vibe did you get?

Im from Michigan, and would like to get out of michigan, and the idea of going to law school in new york city is appealing to me.

pretty expensive-- close to 40,000. but they do offer good scholarships to well-qualified students, and their scholarship is in fact one of the only reasons i am considering going.

I will be visiting soon too.

Utterly fails the stateofbeasley test.  It's an extremely expensive private school with mediocre to poor job prospects.  If you must go to NYC and can't get into a top school, go to CUNY.  Even out-of-state tuition at CUNY is comparatively low.

I agree. A lawyer who is now Executive Director of South Jersey Legal Services who went to CUNY. I would definitely go to CUNY over New York Law unless you got a real good scholarship.

The crazy thing about NYLS is that it's a 3rd/4th tier school, yet it looks like it has a comparable history as NYU and Columbia in terms of age. I wonder what the administration from NYLS did that made it plummet so much compared to other schools in the city. It may be the worst law school in NYC...
