UH Vs Baylor??

Got in at Baylor summer with 1/2 tuition. First choice was UH, but now I am considering Baylor bc of the money. I do not want to do litigation and am intimidated by Baylors rep on intensity, curve and litigation classes that are required. I am from Houston and went to UH undergrad. I am really torn bt the two. I am thinking about Employment/Labor Law, but am keeping my options open.

Does anyone know what the average starting salary is out of UH? My friend graduated from Baylor Spring '07 and walked into a 90K job... She said all of her friends from school are earning btwn 75-160k...

Your friend lied to you, sorry.  The median starting salary at Baylor is less than 75k.

Also, I know of two firms in Dallas that pay 90k (not that I know all of them), and both require previous experience.  Where did she end up?

She doesn't lie... She was however Top 10%, Law Review and Fluent in Spanish, which probably helped... She's in San Antonio.

Yes I know about Dallas BIGLAW, thats why 90k was a surprising number.
