Claim to place applicants onto the wait-list at no particular order. Should one even bother sending an LOCI to a school like that? It seems to me that chances of being accepted are not going to be increased by an LOCI.  What do you think?

Ding me I dare ya!

well if they have to pick someone off the list they would probably pick the one person that made the effort to contact them and show them that they want to go there... so yea I would def send them a LOCI.

I also think that the no particular order thing is saying that they are going to go beyond simply numbers to pick people from the waitlist now... sending a LOCI would be a good thing in this situation too.

I agree with Ding me.  Just because they put people on the waitlist in no particular order (not sure what that means, but ok), doesn't mean they pull people off the waitlist willy nilly.
