Harvard starting rejecting people???

Yeah, they started last week, according to TLS.

that sucks... I didn't expect the dream to end until late April like their email stated.

Where do you think you'll be next year, Zap? (Sorry, this is heartbreaker under a different avatar :))

Right now it's between NYU and full price and UCLA with a full tuition scholarship.  This could change a bit if GULC offers me money, but they haven't offered any yet and they don't seem to give out so much money so I realize this is a huge longshot.  Between those two I'd probably go to NYU because 1) the opportunities it would provide, 2) its ASDs blew me away, 3) my SO (currently a college junior) will likely attend grad school in NYC.  I still believe  I'm going to get into at least one of Cornell or Columbia, and I haven't given up hope on a Stanford shocker or a Harvard waitlist.

You're headed to New Haven, correct?

Who?

Is anyone else mildly annoyed that Northwestern claims they want applicants with 2 years work experience in an attempt to drive up applications to the school, and then simply rejects everyone who doesn't fall into their LSAT/GPA alogrithm?

just Trev

Not everyone. At TLS someone with a 3.6/173 with 2 years WE was outright rejected.

I also don't see how asking for that will drive up applicants unless there is a huge segment of people with 2+ years WE who forgot that numbers still matter more than WE.
