Just got rejected from Michigan. Waitlisted at Columbia and Virginia.

Got into UCLA + USC.

Nothing from Berkeley or the big three yet. Expecting thin envelopes each and every day.

Sigh.

Why do the top schools take so long to reject?

Better to crush feeble hopes sooner rather than later...

I agree... it has been way too long (almost 2 months I think) since I have heard from a school.

I agree... it has been way too long (almost 2 months I think) since I have heard from a school.

I'm on 4 months with a couple schools that have rejected people long ago...

I meant that I hadn't heard from ANY school in 2 months, after getting decisions from 6 of the 12 to which I applied.

Anyway, be careful of what you wish for... streak ended- WL at Michigan.

Apparently I'm the first waitlist at WUSTL.  Well I might be, my mother didn't remember if it was Emory or WUSTL
